Caresse earned her B.A. at the University of Florida and taught English and Creative Writing in public and private
schools for many years. She recently retired to begin a writing career. With a love of history and the Bible, she naturally
navigated toward reading and writing Biblical fiction. Her favorite historical fiction authors are Francine Rivers and
Lynn Austin. C.S. Lewis holds a special place in her heart as well. Authors of other genres who inspire her are Charles
Martin and Beverly Lewis. Her greatest desire in writing Biblical fiction is to reveal the LORD, God of Israel, as the
Bible describes Him in Exodus 34: 5-7. Compassionate, gracious, longsuffering, full of loving kindness, and just, He is
our perfect Father. Caresse lives in Florida near her children and many grandchildren.
